Terms & Conditions

1. The premises are rented strictly on the basis that it is for a holiday use only, and no right to remain exists for the client or any person allowed into the property by him or her. (Section 9 of the Rent Act 1977)
2. The property occupies the first & second floor. Access by staircase only.
3. Telephone bookings will be held for 5 days pending the receipt of a booking form and payment described as below.
4. Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of a completed Booking Form and the initial booking deposit of £200 per week.
5. The full weekly rental is due 6 weeks prior to the arrival date. If the booking is made within 6 weeks of the arrival date the full amount is due immediately.
6. Once a booking and deposit has been confirmed the client is liable for the full amount of the weekly let 6 weeks prior to the arrival date. Non payment will be treated as a cancellation and the owners will attempt to re-let the property.
7. The owners reserve the right to refuse the booking. In this event all fees will be returned.
8. All prices quoted are in UK £’s. Cheques to be made payable to Mr J Crouch
9. In the event of a cancellation the client should advise the owners immediately. Whereupon the owners will, without prejudice the rights to the balance in full, use their best endeavours to relet. If reletting is achieved the rental fee less an administration cost of £15 will be returned. To avoid cancellation losses clients are advised to take out Holiday Cancellation insurance
10. Letting will normally be from Friday to Friday commencing between 3-4pm on the day of arrival and ending at 10am on the day of departure.
11. If for any reason beyond the owners control, the property is not available on the date booked, all rent paid in advance will be refunded in full, but the clients shall have no other claim against the owners.
12. The maximum number of people occupying the premises is 3 and all names should be written on the Booking Form. No smoking is permitted. We regret no pets allowed.
13. The person signing the Booking Form certifies that he/she is authorised to agree to the conditions of booking on behalf of all the persons included in the Booking Form. The signature must be a member of the party occupying the premises
14. The client is expected to leave the property as found on arrival. The client will be responsible for any repairs or replacements
15. The client will not do, or suffer to be done on the property, anything which may be or become a nuisance to the owners or the occupiers of the adjoining properties or which may violate any insurance on the property against fire, or otherwise increase the ordinary premiums thereon.
16. The client will permit the owners with or without workmen to enter the property at any reasonable time, to inspect the condition or for the purpose of carrying out repairs.
17. The owners will not be responsible for any accident, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience whether to property or persons, which the client or any other person may suffer or occur, out of or in any way connected with, the letting or from any other cause whatsoever.
18. In the case of any discrepancy between these booking conditions and any other published documents or information concerning the letting of these properties, these conditions will prevail.
19. If there is any breach of these conditions, the owners may re-enter the property and terminate the tenancy without prejudice to other rights and remedies of the landlord. The contract is deemed to have been made at Danestream Holiday Apartment: 98A High Street, Milford on Sea, SO41 0QE and the proper law of the contract is English.
